The last weekend of May continues the series of major public events and offers extremely diverse activity tips for little ones and slightly older children in Helsinki. On Sunday, there's also an event tip to neighboring Espoo and the manor museum Glims.

World Village Festival
Kaisaniemi Park and its surroundings
The World Village Festival takes over Kaisaniemi Park and its immediate surroundings on Saturday and Sunday and offers extremely diverse programming for the whole family. Little ones are entertained with, for example, music, workshops, dance and storytelling sessions, as well as animal visits.
Saturday's program highlights include, for example, the entertaining Mud Warriors' catchy concert at 11 a.m. on the Savanni stage, Samkid dance class at 1:34 p.m. (location Tenava-Timbuktu), and Koiramäki alpacas visible all day at Tenava-Timbuktu.
An entire day can easily pass at these festivals, fortunately the city center childcare services are nearby and families with children are well considered at the festivals too.

Käpylä Village Festival
Pohjolankatu Street and its surroundings
STAGE is located in Otto Iivari Meurrnan Park
The beautiful Käpylä wooden house idyll and its surroundings bring the whole village together once again and bring diverse programming to Käpylä's streets and alleys. Children are also well considered with, for example, concerts (for example, The Bätmäns on stage at 12 p.m.), obstacle courses and dance lessons.
If the old signs are accurate, there will be plenty of activity and playgrounds will be crowded all day long.

Book Workshop Children's Saturday
Teurastamo, Työpajankatu 2 a R4
Kirjaverstas, which opened in the Teurastamo courtyard area in spring, is a place where little ones have been exemplarily considered as users from the start. The program includes crafts and drawing workshop led by comic center instructors.
In the Teurastamo courtyard area, you can also enjoy your own packed lunch in a relaxed atmosphere, so for that reason too, Kirjaverstas is an excellent place to visit with children.

Cleaning Day

With children, it's sometimes nice to browse especially outdoor flea markets in good weather and nice surroundings. Cleaning Day provides an excellent opportunity for this, as various smaller and larger flea market stalls and related events are found throughout Helsinki on Saturday.

Coffee Sisters' Children's Saturday
Hakaniemi Market Square
"Come listen and sing children's own music, try your luck at the spinning wheel and meet the lovely Mana-bear. Watch as Jussi creates animals from balloons. No one will go hungry, as you can fill your stomach with waffles, donuts or even rice pudding. The first 100 will get their own Coffee Sisters balloon. So welcome children, adults and everyone in between, see you at the market!"

Annantalo A.stage and Brick Artwork Opening 1-4 p.m.
Annantalo
A community brick artwork built in the Annantalo courtyard area, with the opening ceremony held on Sunday. Programming for all ages of little ones; clay workshop, costume and face painting workshop as well as Gommi and Pommi (2 p.m.) and Pommulinna's Crew (3 p.m.) concerts on the new brick stage.

Manor Museum Glims, Glimsintie 1
Manor Museum Glims is a wonderfully unique place to visit with little ones and the museum's Children's Sunday is an excellent reason to travel to Espoo. "Glims' Children's Sunday is full of activities, atmosphere, animals and music; the program includes workshops, a blacksmith demonstration, archery, 4H farm animal farm visits, a concert by the Helsinki Police Orchestra's Nallecopla and much more."
Admission 4/3 €, under 18 free admission. Manor Museum Glims is a museum card venue. Manor Museum Glims is located right next to Jorvi Hospital.
