The target audience on the website is pre-school children and families with small children.

In the coming months, Pienten Helsinki will publish a new type of city tourism concept when a restaurant management student Heidi Säynätkari creates city paths for families to several neighborhoods in Helsinki as her thesis. Guard Parade departs at 12.30 p.m. from Senate Square and marches via Market Square to the main guard, and from there back along the Esplanade to Barracks Square. Children's Seurasaari event has lots of programs in the Seurasaari area Sunday 11-16.30. For example, at Antti's square there are friendly dogs, horse carriage rides, pony riding, traditional games and performances, at Iisalmi Parsonage there are cake refreshments and a workshop. The day's special program is free, as is admission to the island, museum buildings and guided tours require admission tickets. Helsinki's funniest community garden is being set up in Annantalo's yard in 2019. Yard activities begin Wednesday 8.5.2019. Cultivation work parties continue Wednesdays throughout the summer and early fall until 9.20.2019. The community garden is truly Helsinki's own garden, where anyone can enjoy its care and harvest. In Annantalo's yard and its A•stage programs are organized mainly for children, young people and families from May through mid-September.

Pienten Helsinki as an app on your phone!
Pienten Helsinki now also works as a PWA app. You can install Pienten Helsinki on your Android or iPhone phone simply by opening the page in Chrome or Safari browser and selecting "Add to home screen" from the share button. A PWA app differs from a traditional app in that it does not need to be separately installed from App Store or similar. In practice, the content is exactly the same as in a browser, but the page loads faster.
Pienten Helsinki does not require registration to work now, nor will it ever.
