Open early childhood education activities (=playgrounds and family centers) return to normal starting October 18, 2021! The indoor facilities of playgrounds and family centers, outdoor areas of playgrounds, fixed play equipment, and outdoor toys are available for children and families. More information on the city's website.
Helsinki city playgrounds offer programs for families on outdoor areas in the mornings. For more details, check the individual playground websites. During autumn break week, many playgrounds are open and offer activities for young children and school-age kids.

Albert's Living Room is open again after a long break. A wonderful meeting place for families with children and seniors located in Kamppi at Albertinkatu 33. Albert's Living Room is open on Mondays from 9:30 AM to 2 PM.
Baby and family Pop-Up space and events at Kiseleff House at Aleksanterinkatu 28. Monday's program includes story time at 9-10 AM (advance registration required), otherwise the space is open for free use from 10 AM to 3 PM. Autumn break orienteering around Malmitalo and Ala-Malmi Park during autumn break week, Monday to Sunday, self-guided. Monday, October 18, 2021 from 11 AM to 1 PM: guided obstacle course and orienteering instruction.
Art Clinic: Renaissance Disco
Autumn break Art Clinic for children under 10 at Annantalo Monday from 12 PM to 4 PM. Younger family members, babies, and toddlers can also participate and experience the art clinic atmosphere. Free admission!

Free admission for morning ball sports; evening ball sports cost adults Pallomylly's per-visit fee.
