- Self-picking of sunflowers in the city's fields has started again! The Haltia sunflower field is located along Kuninkaantammintie after Haltia farm. In Tuomarinkylä, you can reach the sunflower field by driving to the end of Tuomarinkyläntie in front of the manor and walking from there to the end of the birch grove towards the riverbank. The sunflowers are located between the Vantaa River and the horse pastures. Please note that the flowers are not located next to the parking lot or road. Walk only on the light traffic routes and do not move in the stable areas or horse pastures.
- On the Lasipalatsi square, around the Amos Rex museum hills, Yinka Ilori's Transparent Happiness artwork opened on Midsummer's Eve, emphasizing play, interaction, and togetherness. You can bring your own basketball or table tennis rackets, as this artwork welcomes play. Game equipment can also be borrowed from the Amos Rex museum against deposit during opening hours. Free admission.
- Museum tickets to the Natural History Museum or admission tickets to Korkeasaari Zoo can also be borrowed from the library! From Viiki Library, you can borrow an admission ticket to the Natural History Museum. From Kalasatama Library, you can borrow an admission ticket to Korkeasaari Zoo.

- Changing of the Guard: Navy Band Friday 12:20 p.m. The 2025 summer changing of the guard ceremonies begin at Senate Square, featuring light music, formation marches, and military drills. Following this, the parade continues to the rhythm of march music around Esplanade Park and in front of the main guard station. From the main guard, the parade proceeds along North Esplanade back to Senate Square, where the ceremony ends.
